Rough dirt roads in Northwest New Mexico didn’t stop us from visiting a World Heritage Site, Chaco Culture National Historical Park, last May (2025). The sprawling canyon site, which gave birth to the modern pueblos of New Mexico, amazed us at every turn. It was remote, but worth visiting at least once in your life.
